DESIGN

The first thing we need to do is better understand you as a person and as part of a family. We like to meet you at your space so that we can have a better idea of how your existing space can serve you better. This first conversation is mainly about the “big ideas” that will drive the design of your space.

Once a design direction has been identified, we’ll begin to flesh out the sketch of the concept option into something that is more refined and real. While doing this, we’ll also integrate any comments and changes you have requested into the design.

The ultimate goal of this initial design phase is to create a graphical illustration/design set that is a set of views that define in some detail the state of the design. This set of designs will include dimensioned and labelled Plans, Elevations, Sections, Etc.

SPACE PLANNING

This is a fundamental element of our design process. We give an in-depth analysis of how your space is to be used effectively. Our designers then draw up a plan that defines the zones of your space and the activities that will take place in those zones.

The space plan will also define the circulation patterns that show how people will move through space. The plan is finished by adding details of all the furniture, equipment and necessary placements.

PRE-CONSTRUCTION

Our pre-construction services are used to help meet a client’s vision as well as match their construction budget. These services will make sure your project is feasible on a given site and enable you to look into some more cost-effective options.

During the design process, pre-construction cost estimates are created to help with the owner’s decision making. These early estimates are supported by schematic designs and previous jobs of similar scope. From here, the job would move to a design development stage and finally the construction document state.

RENOVATION / REMODELLING

This is the process of returning your space to a good state of repair. Also, it is the process of improving or modernizing an old, damaged, or defective building.

EXTERIOR/INTERIOR DECORATION

Just before you enter a hotel, a hospital, café, or a restaurant, you make up your first impression of it by observing its exterior design.
